Ski-in ski-out gets stretched a lot in listings. At Snowshoe, two of our seven homes earn it. 305 Soaring Eagle sits in Soaring Eagle Lodge on South Mountain: you walk out of the building's locker room and onto the snow at the Soaring Eagle Express, and your gear lives in the locker room, not the condo. 1208 Silver Creek is on the Silver Creek run, Snowshoe's own night-skiing hill, with the tube park and the terrain park outside the lodge.
The other five are close but we will not call them ski-in. Timbers 3 and Timbers 5 are a two-minute walk to the Soaring Eagle lift, which for a family with a hot tub waiting is a fair trade. The three Summit condos are a five-minute walk to the Village and the Ballhooter lift, or a free shuttle ride when it is dumping.
One thing to know about Silver Creek: it is a separate hill from the main Village, linked by the free resort shuttle all day. If your group wants the Western Territory steeps every morning, 305 Soaring Eagle is the better base. If it is kids, tubing, and skiing after dark, Silver Creek wins.

What to know
- 305 Soaring Eagle: pick up your key card before you drive into the garage. It opens the garage, the elevator, and the locker room.
- 1208 Silver Creek: parking passes come from Silver Creek, not from us. Sarah registers your stay after you book; print the confirmation and hand it to the lot attendant.
- No pets at either condo. The buildings' HOA rules do not allow them. Dogs, or other pets, stay at Timbers 3 and Timbers 5.
- Timbers 3 and Timbers 5 are walk-to-lift, about two minutes. We label every home honestly on its page.

Which Snowshoe rentals are truly ski-in ski-out?
Of our seven homes, two: 305 Soaring Eagle, where you ski out of Soaring Eagle Lodge's locker room to the Soaring Eagle Express, and 1208 Silver Creek, on the Silver Creek run next to night skiing and the tube park. The Timbers cabins are a two-minute walk to the lift and the Summit condos are a five-minute walk to the Village.
Is Silver Creek connected to the main Snowshoe mountain?
By shuttle, not by lift. Silver Creek is its own hill a few minutes from the main Village, with night skiing, terrain parks, and the tube park. A free resort shuttle runs between the two all day, and 1208 Silver Creek is right at the lodge.
Can I keep my skis in the condo at 305 Soaring Eagle?
Gear stays in the building's locker room, which is where you walk out to the slope. That keeps the condo dry and means you are not carrying skis through the lobby. Boots and helmets can come up with you.
