Silver Creek condos at Snowshoe

Silver Creek is Snowshoe's family side: its own hill a few minutes from the main Village, with night skiing, the terrain parks, the only tube park, and Silver Creek Lodge at the bottom of the run. We have one home there, 1208 Silver Creek, and it is the one we send families with younger kids to. Ski in and out on the Silver Creek run, then the lodge downstairs has The Locker Room restaurant and bar, indoor and outdoor heated pools, hot tubs, a sauna, a gym, and a free all-day shuttle to the Village. You never have to move the car.

The condo sleeps six, with a queen in each of two bedrooms and a memory-foam pull-out. It is the smallest of our seven and the easiest for a family of four or two couples. No pets, by the building's HOA rule.

The one thing to plan ahead is parking. Silver Creek Lodge's lot is guarded and the passes come from Silver Creek, not from us. After you book, Sarah asks for your email and registers your stay on Silver Creek's website. Print the confirmation, hand it to the attendant at the front of the lot, and they give you your passes.
