Gift card questions

How much can I put on it?

Any whole-dollar amount from $25 to $10,000. The buttons are just quick picks: type whatever fits the trip you have in mind.

Does it expire?

No. A Wander Luxe gift card never expires, and there are no fees. Whatever is on it stays on it until it is used.

Which homes and dates can they use it on?

Any of our seven homes in Snowshoe, on any dates open on that home's calendar, booked direct at wanderluxelodgings.com. It does not work on Airbnb, Vrbo, or Booking.com.

How do they use it?

The easy way: tap "Book your stay" in the gift email or on the printable card, pick a home and dates, and the code is already filled in at checkout. Or type the code on the reserve page where it says "Have a promo code, gift card, or free night?" Dashes and capital letters are optional. It comes off the total after tax, like cash.

How do they check what is left?

Right here on this page, under Check a balance. Type the code and it shows the balance, nothing else. The reserve page also shows how much of the card goes toward the stay and what stays on it.

What if the stay costs more, or less, than the card?

If the stay costs more, they pay the rest by card at checkout. If it costs less, the balance stays on the card for their next trip. If the card covers everything, there is nothing to pay.

Can it be combined with a promo code or a return code?

One code per booking, so a gift card cannot be added to a booking that already uses a promo code, a return code, or a free night.

Can I send it on a certain day, like Christmas morning?

The card comes to you by email the moment you buy it, so the timing is yours. Print it and wrap it, or forward the email on the day. The code works as soon as it arrives.

What if they lose the code?

Text us. We can look the card up by the buyer's name or email.

What if I need a refund?

Text us. An unused card is refunded in full to the card you paid with, and the code is switched off. If part of it was already used, we refund what is left. Stripe usually shows the refund on your statement within 5 to 10 days.

Can it be cashed out?

No. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash except where the law requires it. Treat the code like cash: anyone who has it can use it.
