Snowshoe has a real winter, a real summer, and two quiet closures between them. Here is what each month is actually like on the mountain: what is open, how busy it gets, how much snow falls, and which of our homes fit it best.

January has the highest average snowfall, and February usually has the deepest base.

The first two weeks of December and the January weeks outside MLK weekend.
The Bike Park
June and September
The Bike Park runs from late May to its closing weekend in October; June and September are the calmer ends.
