Book direct and skip the platform booking fee, about 10% on most stays. The platforms add a guest service fee on top of the nightly rate. Book here and it is simply not there.

Your card is charged instantly
Enter your details and card on our own checkout. Stripe charges the full amount right away and we never see your card number.

Your dates are confirmed on the spot
No waiting on a person to check a calendar: the booking is yours the moment payment goes through, and Stripe emails your receipt immediately.

Get your check-in message
Directions to the exact pin, parking, door details, and the house notes arrive the morning of check-in. During the stay, you text us directly with anything.
If plans change
Cancellation, in short
This is the policy for bookings made here. Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com bookings follow the policy shown on that listing. The what-happens-if list on the policies page walks through the common cases.
- Full refundCancel within 48 hours of booking, with check-in at least 30 days away.
- Minus $100Cancel 60 or more days before check-in and everything comes back except a $100 cancellation fee, which covers our non-refundable processing cost and the work to reopen your dates.
- 50% refundCancel 30 to 59 days before check-in.
- No refundCancellations inside 30 days of check-in, for any reason.
- WeatherNo refunds, credits, or vouchers for weather. The roads are plowed and a proper vehicle with good tires gets there. Travel insurance is the right protection if you want it.
