The Snowshoe Bike Park runs from the Thursday before Memorial Day to the second weekend of October, and it is the reason the mountain has a real summer. Lift-served downhill off the Village, the Basin trails, the UCI World Cup course, and race weekends most of the season. Where you sleep matters for one practical reason: bikes, mud, and a hose.

We point riders to five homes. Timbers 5 has a garage built for it, six bike racks, and a boot and glove dryer, with the bike wash on the walk to the Soaring Eagle lift. Timbers 3 is across the street with the same walk and a back deck for the bikes. The three Summit condos, 103C, 107D, and 202D, are a five-minute walk to the Ballhooter lift with the bike wash station right behind the D building. Bikes stay outside or in the mud room and garage, never in the living room, at every home.

The race weekends, Downhill Southeast, the Enduro series, and the World Cup, fill the mountain the way holiday weekends do in winter. The event calendar on this site has the dates, and the homes go earliest of all. Book the home, then the bike park pass, then the rental bike if you need one.
