Fantastic view! We were all blown away by the view from the balcony and kept going out to see it all times of day and night. Very clean, spacious place. Our family and friends were very comfortable while biking for three days. Definitely recommend.

Second time at this property. We love staying at Soaring Eagle. The condo was perfect for our family ski weekend. We had one minor issue with cleaning but the host handled it professionally and super fast. Would recommend! Show less

The condo was conveniently located and beautifully renovated. Austin the host was very responsive and helpful. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is we had heating issues (which were solved) and while it’s true you Can walk to the slopes it’s up a huge hill. We ended up driving and parking at the top of the world. Show less

Condo as pictured - cute and comfortable. Kitchen very well stocked and bath in one bedroom had nice shower. A few minor issues, and washing machine didn't work - it started to work and then died with tub of water and wet clothes. But over all Sarah is an amazingly detailed communicator and this was also priced well.

Immaculately clean. Beds were super comfy, living room decor was very attractive and cozy. Many thoughtful touches, including plentiful extra pillows and blankets. Although we will be updating some things, I would like others to know that I did inform this guest ahead of time that the washer machine was not working and we're working on getting it fixed, but that there is an additional laundry area in the building. I always try to tell guests ahead of time if something is not in working order. And yes the off season in Snowshoe is more slow but quite a lot of people including us enjoy the peace and quite and no waiting at restaurants when we're there 🙂

While the home is pretty and roomy, the main reason we stayed this far away from the main village was for the private hut tub promised in the actual listing name: Cozy Cabin Retreat w/ Private Hot Tub. Austin replied: Hey, Susan. Thank you for your review. To respond for others who may see this: - My hot tub is cleaned after each guests. However, I was notified on night 3 of 4 on the hot tubs condition. With proper notice on day 1 of the issue, I would have had the hot tub available by day 2. - Not only that, I was never sent photos of anything. - In response to this, I had my hot tub cleaner at the property first thing that next morning where he did drain and clean the hot tub. I did not hear from you until later afternoon on it being still cold. - Because I felt bad that you couldn’t enjoy my hot tub immediately, I offered the hot tubs available at my other property at Soaring Eagle where they have 3 amazing hot tubs. You insisted on not wanting to walk there so I offered where you could park in the heating parking garage at Soaring Eagle and you refused. - Soaring Eagle is in a 2 minute walking distance or a 20 second drive from my Timbers home. - You then were so mad, you demanded a hefty refund for the hot tub not being ready. - I explained how if you told me on day 1, then we would have had no problems. - Your lack of communication and unwillingness to travel 20 seconds to my other hot tub is what left to your 3-star. - Lastly, I want to note that the price you paid was during peak season on a weekend. - I communicated promptly and addressed all issues and concerns immediately. I am hoping those who read this review also read my 50+ five stars I have right now. Thank you.

It is a well furnished house with a great view. We had a few issues (see below). Lots of beds if you have kids. To get to the Village you can either drive or take a staircase (about 60 steps). Austin replied: First and foremost, there is zero black mold at my home, nor was there any note of it while you were there. I have guests stay at my home every day and you're the first person to mention this. Second, the door code is given to all guest 2 days prior to checking in. There's no possible way of changing codes for people who need to manually input a code. There was an honest accident of the next guest who came early and apologized on that. You stayed for one discounted night. Asked to check-in early, asked to check-out late, and then wanted the night for free. To say the least, your comment is an anomaly on how everyone else views my home. I have this condo booked every day and you are the only one who has mentioned any of this for the years it's been here.

We enjoyed our stay in Austin’s 202D Summit air bnb. He was very quick to reply with text communication and the space was roomy enough for four adults and two kids under three. Very close walk to the village. Nice appliances and fans for all the rooms which was a nice touch. We got this at a discounted price of $99/night so it was hard to beat that value.

The condo was conveniently located and Austin was very easy to communicate with. The two bedrooms other than the master were extremely small and did not easily hold two adults and luggage. The beds were not comfortable which is a big disappointment after an exhausting day on the mountain. Other than that the condo was decorated very nicely.
