True ski-in, ski-out: walk out of the building's locker room and onto the slopes. Renovated top to bottom with granite, stainless steel appliances, and an open floor plan for ten, and the sunrise over the lake and the mountain is the view guests still talk about, from the balcony or without leaving bed in the primary suite. Soaring Eagle Lodge adds the hearth room, three hot tubs, a sauna, a gym, and heated underground parking. Elevator and single-level living, no stairs.
From Austin and Sarah
Watching sunrise over the mountains from the primary bedroom is why we bought this one. The soaking tub in that same suite, the three community hot tubs after a day on the mountain, and parking in the heated garage instead of the snow are what our guests remember most. Both living room couches convert to full sofa beds sleeping two each, which is where the last four of the ten sleepers come from.

“Great experience overall! I'll definitely book with Wander Luxe again in the future. ”

Underground heated garage, two spaces. The lodge's $20 a night parking charge is already in your total, so there is nothing to pay on site. Pick up your key card before you drive in; it opens the garage door, the elevator, and the trash room, and nothing opens without it.
Self check-in; the building has 24-hour staff. Pick up your key card first, then the garage and elevator work. Where to collect it and your door code arrive in your check-in message two days before you arrive (in the app you booked with, or by email if you booked direct), and the code appears in your Guest Lounge at 8 AM on check-in day. Check-in 4:00 PM, check-out 10:00 AM.
Wildcat grocery at the Village, about a two-minute drive. Dollar General in Slaty Fork, about 15 minutes, is what we actually use for a real grocery run, good enough for most of a week. Full grocery in Marlinton, about 30 to 40 minutes, or Elkins, about an hour, so stock up on the drive in.
Soaring Eagle Lodge: shared hot tubs, sauna, gym, and hearth room, elevator, single-level living.
No pets at this home (condo association rule). Both Timbers homes welcome dogs. Service animals are welcome at every home, with no fee. Please tell us before you arrive so we can let the HOA know, and we may ask what task the animal is trained to perform.
No parties. Up to 10 guests, including children. Guests not included in the reservation are $50 per person per night. No fires at this home; there is no fire pit here. All house rules.
Full refund within 48 hours of booking if check-in is 30 or more days out. Full refund minus $100 at 60 or more days, 50% at 30 to 59 days, nothing inside 30 days. No refunds or credits for weather; travel insurance is your protection. Strict on purpose: our homes book out months ahead, and a firm calendar is how a cancellation never costs another family the dates they wanted. Details.
Smoking and vaping are allowed outside only, away from doors and decks. Please leave no cigarette butts anywhere, especially outside. If there is any smoke smell inside the home, a $500 smoking fee applies. We are strict about this.

AirbnbWe had such a nice weekend. Austyn was a great host and communicator. The condo was squeaky clean. I am very particular, my family gets annoyed with my being overly particular. I could find no fault with Soaring Eagle. So clean and fresh ! The kitchen was so well equipped that one could cook pretty much anything. The linens were…

AirbnbFantastic view! We were all blown away by the view from the balcony and kept going out to see it all times of day and night. Very clean, spacious place. Our family and friends were very comfortable while biking for three days. Definitely recommend.
