April 17 | Raven Golf Course Opens–Weather Dependent

May 21 | Snowshoe Bike Park Opening Day

After an amazing winter, and a long spring, lift serviced bike riding is back! The Snowshoe Bike Park features trails for every rider from first timers to seasoned pros. Help us kick off another great season of berms and buddies.

May 22 - 25 | Memorial Day/Homeowners Weekend (Saturday Fireworks)

Kick off the summer season with a full slate of sunny sky adventures finally back in action. Long days, cool breezes, and that first real taste of summer freedom set the tone for an unforgettable weekend. And when the sun goes down, Saturday night fireworks light up the Basin, turning the mountain into a full-blown celebration. May 22 - 23 | WvTF Ultra Marathon Running Race

Calling all runners and hikers! West Virginia Trail Fest is returning for it's third year. This race takes participants all over the Monongahela National Forest with 100k, 60k, 30k, and 5k options. Sign up today! Register / Volunteer and/or Learn More here: https://wvtrailfest.com/

May 30-31 | Hotdogs & Handlebars

Dust off the cobwebs and get back on your bike with this green trail, community-driven ride. Saturday includes a skills clinic and race registration, followed by racing on Sunday. Hotdogs & Handlebars is a progression-focused series designed to build confidence, sharpen skills, and keep it fun!

June 6 | Foundation Golf Tournament

June 12 - 14 | Downhill Southeast Series Race

The Southeast’s premier gravity series returns to Snowshoe for downhill mountain bike racing action. June 21 | Community Appreciation (Father’s Day)

Snowshoe Mountain would be nothing without the local communities that live, work, and play here. This weekend, residents of Pocahontas, Randolph, and Webster Counties will get a FREE Summer Fun Pass. Just bring your photo ID to the Depot.

June 26 - 28 | Grand National Cross Country Series-GNCC

The GNCC E-Bike, ATV, and Dirt Bike races are back. Just like Snowshoe, this is GNCC’s 50th anniversary season. Come up and enjoy some high-octane racing. July 3 - 5 | Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks Display

Happy 250th Birthday America! What better way to celebrate our founding and remember the documents that established this great nation than by soaking up some mountain air. We’ll have a full activity offering with the Bike Park, Raven Golf Course, Adventure, and, of course, fireworks!

July 5 | Ruff Race

Get your paws in the dirt with a fun and family friendly 5k around the beautiful woods and Village of Snowshoe. Go as fast or slow as you and your pet want.

July 16 - 18 | 4848 Festival

A festivacation like no other. This full-blown music festival boasts three stages and three nights of music from various genre-busting acts. Notable artists this year include The Revivalists, Greensky Bluegrass, and STS9. Be sure to take some bike laps or a dip in the lake between sets! July 23 - 26 | West Virginia Speedfest

The Hillclimb event of the summer in West Virginia. The annual WV Speedfest is a celebration of car culture, speed, skill, and sheer thrill racing up one of West Virginia’s most iconic mountain roads. You’ll find everything that makes for an exciting weekend. Thrilling competition, amazing cars, great food, live music, and spirited drives through awesome scenery.

August 1 | Blues & Brews

Craft beer, soothing tunes, and good food in the middle of the picturesque Snowshoe Village await at Blues & Brews. After a big day on the trails join us for an evening of live music, food, and drinks to recount the day, catch the sunset, and dance the night away.

August 2 | Hotdogs & Handlebars

A community-driven race on classic right-side blue trails. Faster lines, bigger features, same good vibes.

August 8 | Treasure on the Mountain

Sept. 4 - 7 | Ballhooter Music Festival (Labor Day Weekend)

Introducing a new music festival set high atop Cheat Mountain at Snowshoe Resort. The name may sound familiar; Ballhooter Festival was once a beloved winter tradition for many. We’re keeping the same name, the same energy, and the same mountaintop magic, but now it all comes to life against a brand-new backdrop: Summer at the Shoe. Get ready for a bigger, brighter, and better Ballhooter than ever before, featuring three full days of live music, mountain activities, and the electric energy that makes this place unforgettable. Sept. 6 | West Virginia Enduro Series Final

West Virginia Enduro Series returns for 2026. In this race, competitors will face a series of timed, mostly downhill, stages punctuated with a series of pedal and lift transfers. The rider with the fastest cumulative time to complete all the stages wins the day.

October 10 - 11 | Bike Park Closing Weekend

Closing Weekend is bittersweet. It’s your last chance to hit that big jump, lace together a tech section, and drink a cold one after a big day on the trails. Get the crew out to the mountain for one more weekend of party laps!
