Three levels of cabin, two minutes on foot from the slopes. Ski until lunch, come back to the fire, and head straight out again. Evenings are the private hot tub with the grill going and heated mats underfoot, the game room and poker table, and sunsets from the top floor. Four bedrooms and three full baths sleep twelve across two kings, a queen, two sets of bunks, and a sofa bed, with a pack and play and a high chair for the littlest ones, a dual coffee maker in the stocked kitchen, heating and AC, smart TVs, and a washer and dryer. The garage fits a car (or a car and a motorcycle) plus ski racks, a boot and glove dryer, and six bike racks, with three more spaces in the driveway. Not skiing? The Village is a two-minute drive or a free shuttle ride for dinner and shopping.

Every inch of this one was touched during the renovation. The garage is the real win: a car, or a car and a motorcycle, parked out of the weather alongside the ski racks, bike racks, and boot and glove dryer, plus three more spaces in the driveway for the rest of the group. The poker table gets more use than we expected, and sunset from the top floor is the moment guests keep texting us about. One guest room sits on the main living level, so someone who'd rather skip the stairs still gets a real bedroom, not a compromise; the other three bedrooms are up on the top floor, with the garage on the ground level below.

A 1.5-car garage (one car, or a car and a motorcycle) plus three more spaces in the driveway, four vehicles total at the home. Overflow at Top of the World, $20 a day, if you still need more.
Self check-in with a keypad. Your door code arrives in your check-in message two days before you arrive (in the app you booked with, or by email if you booked direct) and appears in your Guest Lounge at 8 AM on check-in day. Check-in 4:00 PM, check-out 11:00 AM.
Wildcat grocery at the Village, about a two-minute drive, for basics. Dollar General in Slaty Fork, about 15 minutes, is what we actually use for a real grocery run, good enough for most of a week. Full grocery in Marlinton, about 30 to 40 minutes, or Elkins, about an hour, so stock up on the drive in.
Dogs welcome with a $250 pet fee paid at booking. Cats, birds, and other pets are welcome too, at the same fee, just tell us what you're bringing. Service animals are welcome at every home, with no fee. Please tell us before you arrive so we can let the HOA know, and we may ask what task the animal is trained to perform.
No parties. Up to 12 guests, including children. Guests not included in the reservation are $50 per person per night. No fires except in the shared HOA fire pit next to Timbers 5. Bring your own logs and put it out cold. All house rules.
Full refund within 48 hours of booking if check-in is 30 or more days out. Full refund minus $100 at 60 or more days, 50% at 30 to 59 days, nothing inside 30 days. No refunds or credits for weather; travel insurance is your protection. Strict on purpose: our homes book out months ahead, and a firm calendar is how a cancellation never costs another family the dates they wanted. Details.
Smoking and vaping are allowed outside only, away from doors and decks. Please leave no cigarette butts anywhere, especially outside. If there is any smoke smell inside the home, a $500 smoking fee applies. We are strict about this.
AWD or 4WD recommended December through March. Chains are rarely needed; we have never seen a guest need them.
