Completely renovated in December 2021: new kitchen, both bathrooms, paint, and a 65-inch Roku TV, plus the second-floor view that sets this condo apart in the Summit. Five minutes on foot to the Village and the slopes, or the free shuttle when you'd rather not walk. The deck has a grill and one of the best sunsets in the building, the mountains going gold behind the ridge most evenings.

This is the one we modeled after a design magazine, the black accents throughout were our idea from the start and guests still ask where they came from. The sunset from up here is unbeatable, the deer still wander close enough to see clearly, and the granite in the kitchen and bathroom was worth every penny.

A five-minute walk to the Village and the Ballhooter lift, or the free resort shuttle. Bike wash station right behind the D building.
Two cars in front of any Summit building, first come first served. We leave two hang-tag parking passes in the condo; hang one from each mirror. Paid overflow lot near the Village ($20 a day) or free at Top of the World, a two-minute drive.
Self check-in with a keypad. Your code arrives the morning of check-in. Check-in 4:00 PM, check-out 10:00 AM.
Wildcat grocery is a five-minute walk. Dollar General in Slaty Fork, about 15 minutes, for a wider top-up (pantry staples, paper goods, some frozen and dairy; no meat counter, limited produce). Full grocery in Marlinton, about 30 to 40 minutes, or Elkins, about an hour.
No pets at this home (condo association rule). Both Timbers homes welcome dogs, or other pets, for the same fee.
Full refund within 48 hours of booking if check-in is 30 or more days out. Full refund minus $100 at 60 or more days, 50% at 30 to 59 days, nothing inside 30 days. No refunds or credits for weather; travel insurance is your protection. Strict on purpose: our homes book out months ahead, and a firm calendar is how a cancellation never costs another family the dates they wanted. Details.
AWD or 4WD recommended December through March. Chains are rarely needed; we have never seen a guest need them.
